We have went on 6 toy runs and 3 Christmas parades this year. The highlight was the
Shriners Hospital toy run and tour of the hospital. The galt parade is a long one 2 and
1/2 hours. Our newly elected Sheriff Scott was behind us in the sacramento parade . I talked him into writing us a ticket.

San Deigo

The family (13 ) went to San Diego last month. We drove 3 cars down. We stayed at the Navy Lodge on the base in Coronado right on the beach. Thanks to our good friends the Youngers.
Alan went thru school with Brad Younger. He is a Navy Chaplain. He was our sponsor and Host while in San Diego. He and his family invoited us to a BBQ at his home in Imperial Beach upon arrival Saturday. Sunday we spent at the beach with Brad's family playing volleyball and soccer. We watched the youngsters play soccer. And took pix. Then BBQ steaks and chicken for dinner on the beach. It was a great day. 80 degrees. Monday the guys played golf (on Coronado), while the girls went shopping at Seaport Village. Jeannie & I spent the day to ourselves driving around San Diego, La Jolla, Mission Bay. It was a long drive home (8-9 hours) but worth it.
